Force Convection System

It is a system that adopts the forced convection principle in a tempered glass furnace. Forced convection requires on air flow acting as a medium for the transmission of heat from a high temperature point through the glass surface to a lower temperature point. There is an external force or flow device such as a pump or a fan. Force Convection System will allow more efficient heat transmission by the radiation from the heater.  Air serves to bring heat from the heater to the glass surface in addition to radiation. The air flow into the furnace is not released to the outside causing heat loss. Instead, it will rotate inside the furnace to transmit heat to the glass surface faster and more evenly. The tempered glass produced by this system has excellent properties of being strong throughout the sheet, and the glass surface is always smooth without deflection or dazzling waves. It is also a system that reduces energy consumption in the production of Low-E tempered glass. Therefore, the Force Convection System is truly an innovation for the fabrication of the future of tempered glass.

EXTERIOR GLASS

In considering the use of building glass, it is necessary to consider the use in order to determine the properties of suitable glass. In addition to modern aesthetics, but also considering the safety of users. The usage characteristics can be divided into exterior glass and indoor glass with details as follows.

1.Door & Windows Outside the building, the type and thickness of glass used to depend on the size of the workpiece, the wind load and the purpose of use. For example, sliding door glass should be tempered glass 12 mm. thick or sliding door glass with dimensions of 2.50 x 1.10 meters or more should be laminated. Thickness is not less than 10 mm. (5mm.+0.76PVB+5mm.) But if you want to soundproof, you should use vacuum glass.

2. Curtain Wall The glass used should be safety glass and insulate the building’s heat. For example, Low-E laminated glass because the glass wall is a work that is close to the edge of the building. If the glass is broken, it will fall to the ground. Therefore, the appropriate glass to use should at least be laminated glass. If the glass wall is 2.5×1.50 meters, it is recommended to use glass with a thickness of at least 12 mm. (6 mm.+0.76PVB +6 mm.)

3. Facade It needs a modern, airy look that does not obscure the visibility both inside and outside the building. The glass used must be stronger than normal glass such as tempered glass since this type of glass wall is bare glass, fixed with a spider fitting. Therefore, it is recommended to use tempered laminated glass, size 2.5 x 1.50 meters, thickness 12 mm. (6 mm. TP+1.52 PVB+ 6mm.TP) and height should not exceed 15 meters.

4. Skylight It is a glass panel that replaces the roof. Therefore, the glass that will be used must be of high security, such as laminated glass, size 1.20 x 2.0 meters, thickness approximately 12 mm. (6 mm. TP+1.52 PVB+ 6mm.TP). There are frame frames on all four sides so that when broken glass does not fall down.

INTERNAL GLASS

1. Partition It’s a crowded area, this type needs safety. Therefore, the glass used should be laminated glass 12 mm. thick (6 mm.+ 0.76 PVB+ 6mm.) with a size of approximately 1.50 x 2.50 meters.

2. Balustrade It is used around stairs or railings in open spaces in buildings. Therefore, the glass used must be laminated glass. But if the glass used is characterized by having to drill holes to attach to the device, the glass used must be tempered laminated glass to make it stronger than general glass, size 1.0 x 2.0

3. Shower Screen Glass pane that must be tempered glass with thickness 8-10 mm. to install Fitting. Therefore, the notched area of the glass must be stronger than ordinary glass.

4. Glass elevator shaft Should be used as tempered laminated glass to increase strength with a thickness of 16 mm. (8 mm. TP +1.52 PVB + 8 mm. TP), which depends on the size of the glass. If it is tempered, it should be used as an aluminum frame or normal gasses.
