V.M.C. Safety Glass (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was first founded as Sanga Dumronka Shop in 1960
by Mr. Nattavat Praepriwngam President of the company. The initial business at the Shop was carpentry, specifically wooden frameworks for town houses and bus windows. In 1961-1963,
the Department of Land Transportation adopted new policy requiring all Bangkok Metropolis Transport part makers to change from previously wooden bus body to steel type. With his far-sighted vision, he then responded to the policy by designing an aluminum framework for bus windows. The design was accepted by the Department and thus has become a significant beginning for all later progress and development of Siam V.M.C. Safety Glass and its original, well-known logo " Doctor"

The development of automobile industry paved way for auto-part manufacturers to grow. The expansion enormously increased VMC's capability and brought about a major leap in automotive glass production technology.

For many years, we worked diligently to gain recognition and acceptance from customers in both domestic and overseas markets. Our high levels of quality products have been certified by the Thailand Industrial Standards Institution (TISI), and exceeded the international standard such as ECE and AS STANDARD. VMC has obtained quality standard ISO 9002 for both laminating and tempering plants and looks forword to achieving more of other prestiqious standards in the future.
