There are currently many large companies involved in assembling bus bodies such as Cherdchai Busbody Inburi and many other in Ratchaburi (in Ban Pong District), among others. The company is proud to be a part of Thai bus history, although there is still room for improvement in assembling technology and assembling standards.
Over the past decade, the design of bus bodies has become more unique. Such designs include customized look, shapes and dimension of glass which allow the front of the bus to be more aerodynamic and offer driver and passengers to have wider vision. With this in mind, the company has had to improve its manufacturing process to meet the tailored needs and the designs for each bus. We have developed a tracking system or Production Centered System (PCS) to monitor progress of our products during the manufacturing process more effectively.
However, the companys development of the glass does not end there. V.M.C. also produces less widely used types of glass such as IGU double-glazed glass.
